ABOUT ME

I am an educational consultant and advocate with a comprehensive background in communication sciences, educational psychology, and specialized reading interventions. A proud graduate of Northwestern University, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders, with concentrations in audiology, speech and language pathology, and learning disabilities. Building on this foundation, I pursued a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology at Lesley University, focusing on academic testing and art therapy.

In addition, I received specialized training at Massachusetts General Hospital, where I completed my certification as an Orton-Gillingham reading therapist and furthered my expertise and training by working in the neurology unit. This specialized training equipped me with a deep understanding of both the psychological and neurological aspects of learning and development.

After serving as the Director of Student Services for grades K-8, where I oversaw and enhanced educational programs to support diverse student needs, I opened a private reading clinic, Learning Arena. I offer individualized reading interventions and educational consulting services, helping students overcome learning challenges and achieve their full potential.

With a passion for advocating for educational equity and excellence, I combined extensive knowledge and hands-on experience to make a meaningful impact on students' lives. My expertise in both educational psychology and specialized reading instruction underscores a commitment to fostering growth and success in every learner.
